Mother Teresa Catholic Secondary School

The London District Catholic School Board is dedicated to teaching learners in a student-centered educational community. The 1,200 student Mother Teresa Catholic High School embodies this new thinking as reflected in the innovative spaces that also provide the maximum amount of flexibility in learning and social spaces. Examples of these kinds of spaces are the inner-connected forum/cafeteria/stage/theatre arts space which can be manipulated in a number of ways, as well as a double gymnasium and single gymnasium with associated change rooms which can be independently accessed for community use. Technology such as fiber optic systems and broadcasting infrastructure supports multimedia exploration across the school.

The 170,000 square foot secondary school also offers students 29 classrooms, 7 seminar rooms, 5 computer labs, 6 science labs, music room, theatre arts room, full-service cafeteria and cafetorium, library and chapel.  Set on 17 acres of farmland, the Mother Teresa establishes a campus-like setting initiated with a formal entry court. The site has been developed to choreograph the multitude of school buses on the school property, with a soccer field, football field, field house, 8-lane track and surface parking for over 150 cars.
